Artie Lange

News Giant New York Post reported a tragic story in its Page Six gossip column. Artie Lange, the sidekick of Howard Stern, reportedly self-inflicted himself nine times with stab wounds. The unbelievable suicide attempt happened in Mr. Lange's Hoboken, New Jersey home.

Artie Lange was found by his mother who called 911 to report three deep and six less serious wounds. Physical and mental health problems as well as weight and addictions concerns have over shadowed Artie Lange for several years.

The Howard Stern Show did not disclose the reasons he has not appeared since December 12. Few have experienced the psychic and physical pain one must feel in order to inflict that time of injury to themselves repeatedly.

All the best to Mr. Lange in a speedy and successful recovery of both mind and body.
On the Howard Stern show, Mr. Stern said, "We all have our demons. Artie has given this show tremendous moments of great comedy. He's a tremendous contributor. He is a good man. Don't forget how great he is." Mr. Stern further commented that he "wanted to vomit" because of the many rumors floating about his sidekick Artie Lange and his many problems.
